Dr. Yogesh K. Pithwa heads the
Sattvik Spine & Scoliosis Center as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at
Bangalore Hospital, Mumbai, one of the oldest and biggest hospitals of India. A
backbone has natural curves. It consists of a top-of-the-shoulder
curve and a
lower again curve. These curves help the spine absorb strain from frame motion
and gravity. Normally, the spine have to run instantly down the middle of the
lower back when regarded from the returned. When abnormalities of the spine
occur, the natural curvatures of the backbone are misaligned or exaggerated in
positive areas. If the backbone is curved back and forth or in an “S” or “C”
shape, the person in all likelihood has scoliosis. Scoliosis can make the
person’s shoulders or waist appear uneven. Some of the bones may also be
circled slightly, making one shoulder blade more outstanding than the other.
